Northwest Sports Network provides sports care, low-cost sports physicals for local athletes

The Northwest Sports Network, the premier sports medicine partnership between Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists, PS and Columbia Medical Associates, is offering comprehensive sports and musculoskeletal care to athletes and teams. They also offer low-cost sports physicals for local athletes. The Northwest Sports Network is the athlete’s resource for specialized orthopaedic sports medicine and cost-effective care.

Keeve, M.D., orthopaedic surgeon at Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists. “Both Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists, PS and Columbia Medical Associates understand that athletes need specialized and prompt care, which is what makes the Northwest Sports Network a great resource to athletes, coaches, trainers and sports teams.” 

The Northwest Sports Network is a partnership between Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists and Columbia Medical Associates and provides Spokane area athletes access to sports and orthopaedic care, athletic training, sports nutrition, concussion management, surgical and nonsurgical treatments, educational seminars and physical therapy. Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists are the Official Sports Medicine Providers for the Spokane Empire, and Dr. Laura Fralich of Columbia Medical Associates is a team physician for Gonzaga Prep High School.

Sports physicals will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 6 – 8 p.m., at the Columbia Medical Associates North Office, located at 9631 North Nevada Street, Suite 100, and on Tuesday, August 16, 6 – 8 p.m., at the Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists Valley Office, located at 12410 East Sinto Avenue, Suite 201. Physicals will be provided for a fee of $10, which will be donated back to each athlete’s school. Cash or check made payable to the athlete’s school will be accepted. This is the second year that the Northwest Sports Network has provided sports physicals and donated the proceeds to area schools.
