Eric Anderson, M.D.

Dr. Eric Anderson is a board-certified Sports Medicine Physician with over two decades of experience in non-surgical orthopedic care. His passion is in keeping patients of all ages active and doing what they enjoy. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and care of the aging athlete or "weekend warrior". Dr. Anderson will be seeing patients at the NWOS South Hill clinic starting in June 2025.

Prior to joining Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists, Dr. Anderson has provided care at Kaiser Permanente and Multicare/Rockwood Clinic, where he helped patients of all ages stay active and recover from injury. Prior to that, he served as a USAF Family Medicine Physician and Sports Medicine Clinic Director at Fairchild Air Force Base Hospital. His extensive experience also includes serving as a team physician for Gonzaga University, the Spokane Shock professional football team, Shadle Park High School, and the US Ski Team physician pool.

Dr. Anderson earned his Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University and completed his residency training at David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California. He then completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Idaho Sports Medicine Institute in Boise, Idaho.

Throughout his career, Dr. Anderson has been recognized for his dedication to patient care and honorable service, receiving multiple awards including the MultiCare Pinnacle Provider Award in 2021 and 2022, the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He is actively involved in community outreach and education.

Dr. Anderson is a former category 1 competitive cyclist and freestyle skier. In his free time, he enjoys staying active and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters.
