Eric Anderson, M.D.

Dr. Eric Anderson is a board-certified Sports Medicine Physician with over two decades of experience in non-surgical orthopedic care. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and concussion management. Dr. Anderson will be seeing patients at the NWOS South Hill clinic starting in June 2025.

Prior to joining Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists, Dr. Anderson has provided care at Kaiser Permanente and Rockwood Clinic, where he helped patients of all ages stay active and recover from injury. Prior to that, he served as a USAF Family Medicine Physician and Sports Medicine Clinic Director at Fairchild Air Force Base Hospital. His extensive experience also includes serving as a team physician for Gonzaga University, the Spokane Shock professional football team, and Shadle Park High School athletic teams. He was also a physician with the U.S. Ski Team Pool. 

Dr. Anderson earned his Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University and completed his residency training at David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California. He then completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise, Idaho. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Anderson has been recognized for his dedication to patient care and honorable service, receiving multiple awards including the MultiCare Pinnacle Provider Award in 2021 and 2022, the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He regularly contributes to regional sports medicine publications and is actively involved in community outreach and education.

In his free time, Dr. Anderson enjoys staying active and spending time with his family in the outdoors.
